In the summer of 2023, Alexis was getting ready for a dream family trip to Disney World- equal parts excitement.... and a little bit of worry. If you have ever been to Florida in the summer, you know- it's HOT! Not just warm, but sticky and humid. Alexis knew that between the crowds, the excitement's and the heat, things could get overwhelming. She didn't just want to survive the trip- she wanted to enjoy it. Fully. Happily. Together.

So she asked herself a simple question: how do I keep my family cool enough to actually have fun?

She started to look for solutions: something wearable, something effective, something that wouldn't feel bulky or look out of place in family photos. but nothing quite fit. So Alexis did what problem-solving moms do: she made her own.

With a vision in mind and a tight timeline, she got to work and sewed four custom cooling vests- one for each family member of her family. Each vest was designed with special pockets to hold cooling packs, keeping them cool and comfortable in the Florida heat.

And it worked!

Her family stayed very cool! The smiles were bigger and the trip became the memory she had hoped for all along.

But something unexpected happened too. While walking around Disney World, people kept stopping her and asking her about the vests, complimenting them, and asking where they could get one. That's when it clicked: What started out as a mom's solution to keep her kids and family comfortable turned into something bigger- a way to help families create cooling, happier, and more comfortable memories together.

Today the vest has evolved: a little less Disney fabric and a lot more original creativity. But the heart behind it is exactly the same: helping people beat the heat so they can focus on what really matters.
