The owner, Alexis, was going to Disney World with her family in the summer of 2023.  Florida is very hot and humid during that time of the year. Additionally,  her son (age 5 at the time) was struggling with emotional meltdowns.  Not wanting an emotional (or physical) meltdown in the middle of Disney World, she knew she had to come up with something to keep her son physically cool.  Plus she wanted her family to be as cool as possible as well.  

She got to thinking about ways to keep cool in a hot and humid environment and came up with the idea of a vest that she could put cooling packs into pockets that were designed to keep a cooling pack cool.  So she quickly started to search for an "ice vest" for sale online.  She couldn't find what she was looking for (that would look good in pictures), so she decided to make her own.  Alexis quickly sewed together 4 vests for her son and the rest of the family.  Her family had a lovely time in Disney World and were kept quite cool while it was really hot outside.  

Pictured on the left was the very first prototype.  Several people were interested in the vest while at Disney World, so Alexis decided to start a company in the hopes of helping other families enjoy the hot outside during the summer months.  The prototype has changed slightly due to licensing Disney fabric issues, but it will still have the same fun cooling features.
